Dong Fang Mei Ren is on organic tea. Non-synthetic and synthetic fertilizers are not allowed. This is simply because tea insects will die. Repeated shaking of tea leaves is happening. Afterwards, it is sorted on the trays. Drying takes place in order to remove any residual moisture. We can state that the Dong Fang Mei Ren tea manufacture process requires hard work. It lasts nineteen hours. Temperature and humidity are important factors to maintain perfect microclimate inside the room. We visited a tea plantation where Dong Fang Mei Ren grows. Grasshoppers bite tea leaves. Plant watering is not used. Insects prefer warmer climates, therefore during summers you can find a lot of them. Leaves get dark when bitten by grasshoppers. Picking up tea by yourself is considered to be a good tradition. Chinese people enjoy listening to loud music. Plantation may be located twenty kilometers away from the factory. Small mountain road is a geographical feature of the region. Taiwan mountains are beautiful. Nature is green. Bright colorful houses may catch your attention. We spent the night on the farm.
