"Georgian Organic Red Tea" is made of spring shoots of wild tea trees (harvest May 2020) in Guria county.
In appearance: small, curved flagella of medium-sized purple-brown leaves. The aroma is restrained, woody with a fruity hint. The liquor is transparent, with an amber shade.
The tea broth has a warm, woody bouquet with fruity, honey, herbaceous and citrusy hints. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity-floral. The taste is refined and silky, sweetish, a bit tart, with light forest-berry acidity and a refreshing finish.
Steep the tea with hot near-boiling water (98°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should last 7-10 seconds. After that do short brews (2-3 seconds), increasing exposure time for each subsequent infusion, to taste. You can steep t tea 8-9 times.
