Zhengshan Shoumei (“Eyebrows of Longevity”) is a great choice to boost your daytime energy, warm up and refresh perсeption. It is white tea, pressed from raw materials collected in the Taimushan Mountains (Fudin County, Fujian Province), custom-made for Moychay.
The dry tea has been pressed into a 290-g teacake of medium density, easily stratified into flat, brown leaves with thin cuttings. The aroma is intense, wood-balsamic.
The transparent infusion has a grape yellow shade.
The bouquet is complex, woody-balsamic with notes of oak moss, ripe leaves, cognac, creamy caramel and berries. The aroma is low, balsamic.
The taste is multi-faceted, reveals gradually, changing from spicy, dry and slightly harsh at first to juicy, oily and sweet, with fine berry acidity.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 4 g per 100 ml. The first infusion should take about 8-10 seconds. After that, do flash-infusions of about 2-3 seconds; in later infusions, increase the infusion time, if necessary. You can repeat infusing up to approximately 9-10 times, while the tea remains tasteful.
