Shu Puer «Guolao Wu Ji» («The Fifth Grade») from Guolao tea farm (Menghai County).

In appearance: medium-sized flagellum twisted reddish-brown leaves and its fragments, small amount of thin cuttings. The aroma is intensive, woody with a nutty note. The infusion is dark chestnut-red.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, nutty-and-woody, with notes of rustic bread and ripe autumn fall. The aroma is deep and viscous, complex. The taste is soft and mellow, velvety, sweetish, a bit astringent, with a refined cocoa bitterness.

Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6-7 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1 second) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.

Shu Puer «Guolao Wu Ji» shu pu-erh is a good choice for daily tea breaks: warm, soft and mellow.
