“Yiwu Chun Jian” is an aged sheng Puerh from Yiwu Mountains (Xishuangbanna County) from Changning Mentong Yinshan Factory, 2009 harvest.

355-grams teacake of medium density easily separates into twisted brown leaves, buds and thin cuttings. The aroma is restrained, woody-and-fruity with a nutty hint. The infusion is transparent, with a chestnut shade.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, woody-and-fruity with balsamic, autumnal, herbaceous and nutty notes. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity-balsamic. The taste is dense, smooth and juicy-tart, sweetish, with fruity sourness and a refreshing finish.

Steep the tea in a hot water (90-95°C) in a gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (for 1-2 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 10 times.

“Yiwu Chun Jian” is an excellent example of aged sheng puer, lively and vibrant despite its age. Recommended especially for all those who prefer a fruity flavor.
